And the WINNER Is – the myfreightcareer and AFIF Young Freight Forwarder of the Year Competition

 We are delighted to announce the winner of the myfreightcareer and AFIF Young International Freight Forwarder of the Year Competition 2016 conducted recently.

The judging panel faced a difficult task to select a winner from a number of fine candidates nominated by industry companies. The judges selected Matthew El-Hindi, National Business Development Manager – Airfreight at DB Schenker Australia in Sydney as the winning candidate.

Matthew will now have the opportunity to compete in the TT Club sponsored FIATA Young International Freight Forwarder of the Year. FIATA and the TT Club will determine regional winners from which, ultimately, a global winner will be selected. Matthew will complete a dissertation on a theoretical complex freight forwarding movement scenario determined by the TT Club.

On behalf of myfreightcareer and AFIF we congratulate Matthew and wish him well in the FIATA/ TT Club global competition, for which we have nominated him.

Locally, Matthew will receive free enrolment in the myfreightcareer Diploma of International Freight Forwarding, successful completion of which will allow application for the award of the globally recognised FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding. Also, subsidised attendance (airfare; accommodation & registration fee) to the AFIF National Conference at Coffs Harbour, May 11-13, 2016.
